New Niche Finder Keyword Tool
I just found a new keyword research tool put out by Brad Callen called Niche Finder. It grabs Google keywords and runs it through an algorithm to calculate competition, taking into account things like first page results page rank, backlinks and other factors, according to Brad, and displays results with a red/yellow/green icon (like a couple other tools I am familiar with) denoting the likely difficulty in ranking for the keyword using SEO.
Then you can expand the list by selecting a keyword you would like to use, and it pulls in longtail variations from Google suggest.
It reminds me of James Jones’ MicroNiche Finder but with a simpler interface, and is priced about the same. MicroNiche Finder has a lot of cool extra features, but I think I will check out Brad’s Niche Finder based on a lot of positive feedback from WF and other users. The most important thing, to me, is how much you can rely on the accuracy of the algorithms used by these tools. Accuracy and simplicity are good. This is a new tool, so I suspect it will have some additional functionality added – - the one thing I would like to see is it pull in and display CPC data too, but that’s not critical.
Check out the video demo on the Niche Finder sales page and see if it might not be something you are interested in too. Thankfully, it is a one time payment, I actually had a couple similar tools that I like, but they were on a subscription basis, so I canceled those for the time being while I try out this one – - I hate paying for things indefinitely if I can help it, though some things are worth it and have to be that way, still, if I can pay for something and be done with it, I’d rather do it that way.
